Who and where are we?
We are a small cricket club from the village
of Cullingworth in West Yorkshire, just two miles from the 'Brontë'
country of Haworth and within short driving distance of the large metropolitan
cities of Bradford and Leeds. We play our cricket in the Mewies Solicitors
Craven & District
League, which is only one of three leagues to features teams from both
Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Our finest performance came in 2007, as the 1st XI won the Mewies Solicitors Craven League
Division One for the first time, and they also won the Wynn Cup and Keighley
Cup, while the 2nd XI gained promotion to Division Four and reached
the semi-finals of the Cowling Cup. In 2008 our 1st XI yet again completed the league and Wynn Cup double, and we followed that up in 2009 with our third-straight Mewies Craven League title.
